A Stranger Walks Into a Bar

The brief described a scene where a bounty hunter arrives at a western saloon, looking for a fugitive. I chose to set the scene 1875 in Northfield, Minnesota, a town with a large population of Norwegian immigrants and the place known fugitive Jessie James met his end. When designing the set I wanted to focus on the feeling of being hunted.
In this production I was responsible for the design of the scenography as well as the carpentry and construction of the set. I worked alongside Rosalie Båskman, who acted as prop-maker and costumer.
